Details
The Hood Federal Feld Collimator mounts to the aircraft cart. When mounted to the cart, the collimator mates with a Hood Federal 11-5 or AC-14 Payload, depending on the Field Collimator configuration. Taking power from the aircraft cart and using the Hood Federal Field Calibration GUI, the user is able to verify the co-boresight of the payload’s laser designator to the EO imager and make digital adjustments to a laser reticle that is overlaid on imagery.
Additional Features
- The 11-5 configuration also allows for digital adjustment of the MWIR co-boresight to the EO.
- The AC-14 configuration allows for digital co-boresight adjustment of the SWIR Telescope, MWIR Telescope, Zoom EO and Zoom MWIR.
- These adjustments are burned into the payload and used until another calibration is completed.
